The smart card in hand can be used to simulate "hitchhiking" in addition to the left-hand ride.Ticket Simulator is a simulation of railway station gates and tolls on buses.
Users can choose to use a smart card (including Octopus card) as a simulated ticket to simulate the "gateway" of a selected railway station, or to simulate a "ride" on a bus.The following simulation scenarios are currently supported:-The new gates of the Kowloon-Canton Railway in the past-MTR gates-Old MTR shuttle bus fare meterSmart cards supported by analog tickets:-Type-F standard FeliCa physical card (including Octopus card)The mobile phone needs to turn on the NFC function to simulate a ride, otherwise the service suspension will appear on the screen of the turnstiles and toll collectors.Route information is provided by the Hong Kong Government Data One Link (data.gov.hk)Please note that this APP requires the user to use an Octopus card as a simulated ticket.
The program will only read a set of lengthy electronic numbers of the Octopus card for the backend system to process, and will never read and write the numbers including but not limited to the Octopus card number, balance and transaction records.
However, if the user uses the Octopus card as a simulated ticket to cause any loss, the programmer of the program will not assume any responsibility for this.
We suggest users to consider using smart cards that are not commonly used as simulated tickets to reduce unnecessary risks.
